报告人简介：

  周苑 ，南京大学教授。主要研究领域为非常规超导，强关联电子系统和拓扑绝缘体等方向，相关研究发表在Physical Review系列，Nano Letters, New Journal of Physics等物理学主流期刊上，担任Physical Review系列、New Journal of Physics、2D Materials等学术期刊的审稿人。

报告摘要：

Magnetism in graphene and graphene nanostructures attracts much attension due to their promising applications in future spintronics and magnetic devices. High-density, room-temperature realizable, and efficiently controllable magnetism in graphene are high desired. In this talk, I will give some examples for manipulating the magnetism in graphene nanostructures, including ribbon width, carrier density, potential drop, and geometrical structure. I will also discuss ways to generatetrong ferromagnetism in nitrogen-doped and fluorinated graphene.
